Come have sekts with us!! Haven't had sekts before? It's going to be OK. "Sekt" is the German word for sparkling wine. While most people look to Champagne or Prosecco for something bubbly, it turns out their neighbors Germany and Austria make some pretty fantastic sparkling wines themselves! We'll taste different producers and styles, made with a variety of grapes.
Starting this Tuesday we are thrilled to begin offering some lighter fare and glass pours for purchase should you really like something! So come by, eat some snacks, and have sekts with all your friends!

On the eve of the longest day of the year, Halfseas is hopping excited to present our Summer Solstice Sippers tasting. Join us for an evening of magical quaffers from the long boot of Italy while watching the sun slowly get lower in the sky. Slow everything down for a minute with chill-inducing white and red wines teaming with freshness and attitude and go home with a few bottles perfect for your summer BBQs in the park. Solstice Sippers will feature some of our favorite brisk Italian Sauvignon Blanc, Pecorino, Verdicchio, and chillable reds that will – hopefully – be as memorable as the sunset.

Featuring mouth-watering frizzante and sparkling from Italy, unusual indigenous varieties from Spain, as well as Cru Beaujolais from France, this will be a night with a little something for everyone’s taste. In keeping with the Bon Vivant spirit of things, don your most sociably elegant attire, shine your shoes, and get ready to clink glasses with your feisty friends and neighbors! Cin! Cin!

On offer will be a sizzling lineup of whites and reds meant to perfectly pair with spring fish dishes and bright pastas. Discover our old love of Soave and what makes a Valpolicella truly sing – join us on the gondola for Tuesday “wine-time”
